PhD Student Kessi Kuhn Receives the Michael Jenkins Innovative Teaching Award

Recipients of teaching awards through the Governor's Honors Program.

German Department PhD student Kessi Kuhn has been awarded the Michael Jenkins Innovative Teaching Award for her work teaching German through the Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) for highly gifted high school students at Berry College in Rome, Georgia.

Kessi has been actively involved with the GHP for the past three summers and received this award for her curriculum proposal, which features the development of a more holistic international character of the summer school inside and outside the classroom.
