PhD Student Receives Research Fellowship

PhD Candidate Meghan O’Dea received a funded two-month visiting fellowship from the Leibniz Graduate School at the Herder Institute for Historical Research on East Central Europe located in Marburg, Germany. During her time abroad, she will work on her dissertation tentatively titled, “Geopolitical Transformations and Narratives of Return: Literary Return Visits and Tourism to Lost Homes in the German East.” Along with the institute’s library and archival holdings, she will work with the Institute’s in-house scholars to further develop her project.
