Dr. Astrid Weigert Receives National Award for Teaching Excellence

Teaching Professor Astrid Weigert, PhD, has been selected to receive the 2019 American Association of Teachers of German (AATG) FL-A-CH Award. This award honors excellence in the teaching of the language and cultures of Austria, the German-speaking areas of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Südtirol in the US. 

The award will be conferred at a ceremony at this year’s AATG conference held in November in Washington, DC, together with the annual convention of the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).
