From 2022 to 2023, Zora Ruhla volunteered as an assistant director at the theatre in Eisenach, Germany. She then began a Bachelor’s degree in German and Sociology at the Technical University of Dresden, Germany, before coming to Georgetown University as a scholar.
Her research interests include Eastern German literature published during the GDR, theatre and dramaturgy, as well as sociological considerations of literature.
