Olivia Booth (CAS German major) and Sid Mehrotra (SFS ’28) delivered outstanding papers at the 15th Undergraduate Research Conference in German Studies, not only sharing well-organized papers but also handling questions effectively during the Q&As. In fact, Olivia performed so well that she received the Max Kade Prize for Best Presentation, a great achievement especially considering she was chosen from 28 presentations.

Olivia Booth will also present her research as part of an undergraduate research panel at the upcoming conference of the German Studies Association in the fall.

Andre Albrecht (IBLC, COL ’27) has a forthcoming essay, “Lights, Camera, Adaptation!: Redefining Arthouse Cinema” in Film Matters 16.1 (Spring 2026)
