Humanities Assessment
Faculty members and graduate students of the German Department are currently participating in a Humanities Assessment Initiative. Faculty from departments at the University of Notre Dame and at Emory University are collaborating. Documents and reports will be made public here as they become available. The Department is a founding member of the Consortium on Useful Assessment of Learning & Humanities Education (CUALHE) and contributes to its mission through continuing research in humanities learning.
Prof. Marianna Pankova’s paper on achieving humanities learning goals entitled Foreign Language Curriculum as a Means of Achieving Humanities Learning Goals: Assessment of Materials, Pedagogy, and Learner Texts is available through Box.
