Grace Philippon (SFS’26) has won the Max Kade Prize for Best Paper at the 13th Undergraduate Research Conference for German Studies!
On April 6, 2024, Grace presented her paper “Nächster Halt, Niemandsland: Fremde und einheimische Wahrnehmungen der deutschen Teilung in Literatur und Film” at the 13th Undergraduate Research Conference for German Studies, organized by Lafayette College and Moravian University. Her presentation was based on her outstanding final paper for Professor Verena Kick’s course All Eyes on Berlin, which Grace took in Fall 2023.
During the conference, Grace confidently delivered her paper and answered questions during the Q&A, which earned her the Max Kade Prize for the best research project and presentation.
